Fall, apology to faraway friends

As the wind blows heartily outside, and the clouds cover the once shining sun, I am left with thoughts of old friends. I miss you. I know that I have not been good about phone calls or emails, but that does not mean that I have forgotten about the times we used to sip cappuccinos at Starbucks and talk about God, or pick flowers in your backyard to arrange into beautiful bouquets. I still remember those moments and I cherish them, because they were with friends. I apologize for my absence and I apologize for my neglect. Know that I think about you often, and pray for your well-being. Know that you have a place to come and a friend in LA who will always be happy to see you.

There really is nothing like sitting at Starbucks with you. It is one of my all time favorite things to do. No kidding...

And creating beauty with you...I wish we could do it so much more often.
